The success part of ‘Simmba’ was arranged at filmmaker Karan Johar’s residence and it was attended by the team of ‘Simma’ along with Deepika Padukone and Kajol. Kajol arrived with husband Ajay Devgn, director Rohit Shetty, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma was among others.
The film received a massive response and it crossed 100 crore in five days and nearing towards 200 crore club. Director Ayan Mukherji was also part of the success bash.
Sonu Sood arrived with his wife while Shweta Bachchan Nanda too was present.
‘Simmba’ is Ranveer Singh’s biggest opner of his career. The ‘Padmaavat’ actor gives credit to Rohit Shetty for the film’s success, “I want to thank Rohit Shetty for believing in me and making me his hero. Rohit's vision propelled by the collective effort of his entire team has been the sole reason behind Simmba hitting the bull's eye. It has been an absolute honour to work with him and his stellar team. Their large-hearted mentoring and exemplary work ethic has spurred a tremendous growth in me as a performer," IANs quoted the 33-year-old actor as saying.
