On February 24, 2018, legendary actress Sridevi left for the heavenly abode untimely. She died due to accidental drowning in a hotel in Dubai. Her departure has not only left a void in the film industry but her family till not compromise with the fact that Sridevi is no more with them. The tithi of her ‘barsi’ falls on February 12 and a special puja will be held at Sridevi maternal home in Chennai.
Boney Kapoor’s younger brother and actor Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita Kapoor too will fly to Chennai to attend the Puja along with some other family members.
In a recent interview, Janhvi had said that she has still not processed her mother’s death , she said, “I think, I was still in that state of shock, to be very honest. I think I am still in shock. None of it has been processed. Like, I have no memory of three or four months.”
