Sidharth Malhotra sips the hot coffee with the host of ‘Koffee with Karan’ season 6 along with his colleague and actor Aditya Roy Kapur. The ‘Aiyaary’ actor opened up on his break-up with Alia Bhatt.
For the first time Sidharth addressed their break up and the relationship they share after break-up, "We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil... I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history,” Pinkvilla quoted the actor as saying.
"There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories," added Sidharth.
It is said that Sidharth’s growing intimacy with Jacqueline has spoiled their relationship. Alia got irked with the actor’s closeness with his co-stars and she often fought with him.
Sidharth and Jacqueline have also shot an intimate scene in ‘A Gentleman’ and Alia is not too happy. She has also warned her beau to keep distance from his female co-star.
Well, a source further added, “Alia and Sid are avoiding each other and are not even on talking terms now. Maybe with time, they will get back to being friends, but for now, they are maintaining a distance from each other. They were having a lot of fights in the recent times. Mutually, they decided it wasn’t working out and it was better to end it.”
This time the couple broke-up never to get back together again. A source told DNA, “Sidharth and Alia have split, and unlike previous instances, this time, it seems permanent. They will not get back together again.” Shocking, isn’t it?
Alia and Sidharth have been dating for quite sometime and the couple also expressed their feelings for one another in couple of occasions. They spotted together in events, vacations, dinner date etc. They also visited one another’s family and are quite friendly with their respective family members.
