On January 27th, the queen of Indian television Ekta Kapoor welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy. Yesterday, a grand namkaran ceremony was held at the Kapoor’s residence and it was attended by who’s who from the television and film world. Ekta named her son, Ravie Kapoor after the original name of her father Jeetendra. Ekta donned a bright traditional yellow attire while Tusshar Kapoor's son Laksshya looks charming in a yellow-n-white kurta-pyjama.
Abhishek Bachchan was spotted with sister Shweta Nanda, Smriti Irani was also clicked, Mona Singh too was spotted arriving at the venue.
Ekta announced, “By God’s grace, I have seen many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul being added in my world. I cannot even begin to express how happy my baby’s birth has made me. Everything in life doesn’t go the way you want it to but there are always solutions to those hiccups. I found mine and today I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It is an emotional moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to begin this new journey of being a mother.”
