Priyanka Chopra tweets ‘Jai Hind’ post airstrike, Pakistan files petition

Pakistan filed an online petition against actress Priyanka Chopra seeking to remove her as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. The reason is Priyanka tweets in support of India after the recent airstrike.

The actress lauded the efforts of the Army and tweeted, "Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces". Her tweet did not impress the Pakistani and they filed petition against the actress seeking for her removal.

The petition reads, "War between two nuclear powers can only lead to destruction & death. As goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to stay neutral & peaceful but her tweet in favour of Indian arm forces after they invaded Pakistan airspace shows otherwise. She doesn’t deserve this title anymore," reads the petition as cited by Avaaz.org.

They also tagged the UN and the UNICEF.

Priyanka is not the only Bollywood celebrities to praise the India soldiers but many Bollywood celebrities took to their social media account and shower praise on the Indian soldiers after the historic airstrike that damaged the terror camps situated in Pakistan.
